Supernatural Season 7, Episode 11 saw the Winchesters take on a vampire-like creature while grieving for Bobby. Here are the five best lines.

While the Winchesters grieved for the loss of their surrogate father, they headed out on separate hunts. Well, sort of separate hunts. Sam was on the hunt for a vampire-like creature, while Dean went in search for Frank to get a few answers. It soon ended with the two together in Supernatural Season 7, Episode 11.

This was an episode that introduced a new monster and brought us the daughter of a hunter who we knew we’d see again in the future. Here are the five best lines from the episode, titled “Adventures in Babysitting.”

Sure you’re not a Leviathan. Dick Roman’s not a Leviathan. Gwyneth Paltrow’s not a Leviathan…

Frank starts off the best lines from the episode. He is sure that Dean is a Leviathan. After all, DIck Roman is. And it sounds like Gwyneth Paltrow has had her form taken by the creatures. While it remarks on the change Paltrow went through during this time in real life, it’s also a remark to show just how far the Leviathans have spread since being released. It’s not going to be easy to stop them.

Yes, maybe because someone I cared about just got shot in the head.

When someone says you don’t look great, it’s easy to just try to avoid confrontation. Dean isn’t in the mood for it, though. He makes a point that he’s lost someone close.

Dean is often the type of person who will remain closed off from people. Something this line gives us is a hint that he and Frank could have had a great friendship if given the chance.

What I did when I was 26 and came home to find my wife and two kids gutted on the floor. Decide to be fine til the end of the week. Make yourself smile because you’re alive and that’s your job. And do it again the next week.

Frank stole hearts with this line. That gruff and lonely man brought a backstory that quickly told us why he is the way he is. This is something Supernatural has always been able to do with a quick line.

But it’s not just the backstory in this episode. This moment sees him give advice that we know Dean has always followed and will continue to follow throughout the series. He puts on a brave face and pretends everything is fine.

Not your butler!

Frank has always been one of my favorite characters for his off-the-cuff remarks. He says things like it is. This episode gave us a much deeper understanding of his fears of things coming for him and his choice of the lonely life.

However, he still has some excellent lines. You’ll notice that the majority of the best lines in this episode come from him, and this is one of those to add a little humor to the episode. After all, we needed some humor.

Ever know anyone who left the life?

Finally, Lee wants some honesty from Dean. Has anyone ever got out of the hunter life? Is it possible for him to have a normal life with his daughter?

Dean is honest, saying something that we all know. Hunters get out of the life by ending their life. We’ve known nobody actually retire.
