The Supernatural series finale date has been set by The CW. Take a look at when the last ever episode will air live on the network.

The worst date ever is set. We have the details of the Supernatural series finale date. The CW has set it for one in May, which also brings some slightly disappointing news in itself.

Get May 18, 2020 in your diary, according to Deadline. This is the episode you’re going to want to watch live, as it’s the series finale of the Winchester’s story. We’ll see how it all ends, whether we like it or not. And you know there are going to be spoilers everywhere, so you need to make sure you check it out live on the night.

More from Supernatural

This is a Monday night. As we previously reported, Supernatural is moving to Mondays in March 2020. Katy Keene takes over the Thursday timeslot in February.

With the Supernatural series finale set for May 18, that means there’s a break somewhere in the New Year, right? After all, Katy Keene isn’t premiering until February. That means Supernatural Season 15 is back in January 2020.

Yes, it will take a break in February and the first two weeks of March. This isn’t all that strange. Usually, the show only has two to four weeks off, allowing time for filming the final episodes of the season. Last season, the show returned after a month and aired its season finale in April 2019, due to the 20-episode order.

The final season also has just 20 episodes instead of the usual 22-23. To allow the Supernatural series finale to air in May (as it should, right?), The CW needs to break up the series. That means we’ll get a couple of weeks of episodes in January and then a break for six weeks.

There is some good news for those who watch on Netflix. Since the show has entered through the legacy deal, Supernatural Season 15 will be on Netflix in May 2020. More details to follow about that.
