Supernatural Season 15, Episode 4 sees the Winchesters on a monster-of-the-week case. Here’s a look at the official synopsis for Atomic Monsters.

Supernatural Season 15, Episode 4 is set to be the last episode Jensen Ackles directs for the series. It was the first episode filmed back in July, and is set to be a monster-of-the-week episode. The synopsis certainly suggests the monster-of-the-week case is true.

Titled “Atomic Monsters,” the synopsis gives barely anything away. All we really get is the reason the Winchesters are pulled in on a case.

Interestingly, there’s only a hint that the Winchester brothers are going to be a part of this episode. This is unlikely the case. After all, we know that up to SDCC 2019, Ackles and Jared Padalecki hadn’t filmed a scene. While they’d only been filming for a couple of days by this point, it was still a clear sign that others had been involved.

Who were those “others?” We know Rob Benedict was one. What we don’t know is how he was part of it.

Would he be locked somewhere in the Men of Letters bunker? Maybe he’d be off causing havoc? There are a few more clues after the events of the last episode since he’s weakened considerably due to that bullet from The Equalizer, but he still has plenty of power in him to likely take out the Winchester brothers.

But back to the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 4 synopsis. This is an episode that sees the brothers on a case to find out why one girl mysterious died and where another girl has gone missing to. With the title “Atomic Monsters,” why do I get a feeling that we’ll be dealing with something more like A.I. than unnatural creatures?
