SEAL Team lands another Supernatural vet for Season 3
SEAL Team is getting even more Supernatural for Season 3. Another SPN Family member is joining the cast as a psychologist working with Bravo Team.
In case SEAL Team wasn’t already Supernatural enough, the third season will see another SPN Family member join the cast. Emily Swallow has landed a role and she will work with the whole of Bravo Team, which includes a certain Ghostfacer.
Best known to the SPN Family as Amara, Swallow is stepping into the role of Dr. Natalie Pierce, a research psychologist who will work with Bravo Team to test their operational longevity, according to Deadline. That means she’ll be working closely with David Boreanaz, Neil Brown Jr., and, of course, our own A.J. Buckley.

Buckley, who is best known to us as Ed Zeddmore, has been in SEAL Team since it’s beginning. He plays Sonny, a Texas SEAL who is extremely happy being the gun guy. When he needs to, he will step up as the leader, but he doesn’t really like that position. Will this be something Swallow’s character delves into during the third season?
We don’t know how many episodes Swallow will be in. However, she is described as a character with raw intelligence and capability. She’s confident in herself and her role, so won’t be intimidated by the “alpha male” environment that is Bravo Team.
This doesn’t sound like a character we’ll dislike. Unlike other recurring guests on SEAL Team, Swallow’s character wants to keep Bravo Team in the field, which is somewhere the guys love to be. She wants to make sure they’re doing the best job they can, which potentially means a lot of support for the guys.
SEAL Team Seasons 1 and 2 also saw Alona Tal guest star. It doesn’t seem like Tal will be back for the third season considering the way her character’s storyline ended last season, but never say never!
