SDCC 2019: The Magicians panel time, streaming info, and more
The Magicians is taking the stage at SDCC 2019. The Supernatural fans may want to tune in to support Sera Gamble and Rick Worthy, as SPN Family alums.
There are many shows with the odd Supernatural guest star or former series regular. However, not every show has a lot of crossover in the way that The Magicians does. This is a series for the SPN Family, and the SDCC 2019 panel takes place today.
All eyes will be on what’s in store for The Magicians Season 5, which was picked up ahead of the fourth season premiering earlier this year. With former Supernatural showrunner, Sera Gamble, as one of the co-showrunners and Alpha Vamp Rick Worthy, it’s something to keep an eye on if you love to support SPN Family alums.

The Magicians will take to the stage at 6 p.m. local time (9 p.m. ET) at SDCC 2019. If you’re at the convention, you’ll want to head to Indigo Ballroom. You’re possibly already going to be there for the Wynonna Earp panel, so stay there!
Those who are following at home can use the #SDCC2019 and #TheMagicians hashtags. This is how people in the panel will be sharing information. While you won’t likely get videos, there will be plenty of photos and written tweets to update fans on what’s going on in the panel.
What to expect
The heartbreaking Season 4 finale of The Magicians certainly led to some controversy. Some fans were understandably upset with the decision taken. However, there are still stories to tell. The panel is likely to be focused on the future, but I suspect there will be mentions of that heartbreaking finale and why the storyline happened.
The Magicians Season 5 has started filming. Read-throughs started on June 7, so it is possible that some sneaky clips could be shared. If not a sneak then there’s the possibility of a teaser trailer for the fifth season.

According to TVLine, all current series regulars are going to be there, including Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Summer Bishil, and Rick Worthy. Sera Gamble and John McNamara will also be there, along with their new co-showrunner Henry Alonso Myers.
This is certainly going to be a panel for the fans of the series.
