Van Helsing took to the stage at SDCC 2019, featuring many of the SPN Family. Here’s a look at the roundup from the panel, including the Season 4 trailer and more.

Many Supernatural guest stars now have series regular spots on Van Helsing. It’s certainly a show for the SPN Family to check out, and the SDCC 2019 panel was one that many would have gone to.

Promoting Van Helsing Season 4, the panel was quick to share updates and details about the upcoming season. One of the reveals early on was a sneak peek for the season.

However, eyes were on who some of the newer cast members would play. Tricia Helfer, who guest-starred in a Season 2 episode of Supernatural, has already been confirmed in the role of Dracula. Yes, a female Dracula! She shared that the role was terrifying and she would have been paralyzed with fear had she given too much attention to it.

Keeya King and Nicole Munoz have also joined the cast for Van Helsing Season 4. Their roles have finally been revealed as “Jack” and “Violet” respectively. Very little was shared, though, leaving plenty of speculation for the upcoming season.

As well as new faces, some of the current stars of the series were at the panel. They shared more of what to expect, stating that we’ll get to learn more about the lore of these vampires. They are certainly different from the types of vampires we’ve got to know on Supernatural and are nothing like the types of vampires you’ll meet in The Vampire Diaries or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. There have been all sorts of questions about them over the years and now we get to find out more!

Along with the lore is more about the goals of the vampires. It makes sense since so much has been focused on the Van Helsings so far.

The biggest of details was the trailer, which certainly impresses. One thing that is clear is that this season will be darker than ever. Right now the trailer isn’t available to the public, but as soon as it is, I’ll add it into this piece.

Note: The trailer has now been released. You can find it below:

One thing we didn’t get was a release date for Van Helsing Season 4. Expect this sometime in the fall, similar to previous seasons.

Van Helsing Seasons 1 to 3 are available on Netflix to catch up before Season 4 begins and is perfect for Supernatural fans.
