Voyage to the Stars renewed for a second season by MWM

Felicia Day and her band of crazy men (and an A.I.) will be back. Voyage to the Stars has been renewed for a second season.

It’s excellent news for fans of Voyage to the Stars, the ad-libbed podcast featuring Supernatural‘s own Felicia Day. MWM Universe has just ordered a second season of the sci-fi comedy.

Voyage to the Stars Season 1 was certainly a fun and wild ride. It premiered in February 2019, and whiles I did fall behind on the episodes as they aired, catching up has been extremely fun. This is more than just a show. It’s a whole world to delve into and now that world is getting even bigger.

Day will return for the second season, along with Colton Dunn (Captain Tucker), Janet Varney (Sorry), and Steve Berg (Stew Merkel). Like the first season, there will be plenty of high-profile, comedic guests joining the podcasts. We’ll get to see Angela Kinsey, Phil LaMarr, Harvey Guillén, Erinn Hayes, and many more join Voyage to the Stars Season 2.

Most importantly, there’s a new addition full-time. Criminal Minds‘ Kirsten Vangness is joining the second season as Nico, a lesbian space alien who ends up on a complicated love triangle with some of the crewmembers. The press release doesn’t say which crewmembers.

So far, there is little information on the number of episodes for the second season. It is currently in production, so hopefully, there’s won’t be too long before we get more episodes. You can currently listen to the first season through all major podcast services, including Stitcher and iTunes.
