There are plenty of questions about Jack’s soul on Supernatural this week. However, I’m curious about what taking in that grace means for those supermonsters.

Caution: There are spoilers from the most recent episode of Supernatural.

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 14 certainly ended with a major twist and plenty of questions. Jack is at the forefront of our minds and our worries. While Team Free Will 2.0 are more concerned about him burning off his soul, I have a question about that grace he took in. Does this mean the supermonsters are connected to him?

At the end of “Ouroboros,” Jack made the choice to finally use his nephilim power and destroy APocalypse Michael. Yes, it meant burning off the majority of his soul but he was also able to take in Michael’s now unneeded grace.

Great! We’ve got a powered up nephilim again. Well, that’s what it seems but there’s something about that grace that many people seem to have forgotten about: the supermonsters.

All those monsters were made with Michael’s grace. And they were all connected to Michael. He was able to force them to turn and knew where they were and what they were doing. The supermonsters are likely connected to the grace instead of the archangel since it ws the grace that made them supers. So, it suggests that they become connected to whichever angel/archangel/nephilim that has the grace.

So, now they should be connected to Jack. This is certainly going to be interesting for Team Free Will 2.0. They have a group of supermonsters that can help them take down all the other monsters out there in the world. That is as long as Jack has enough of his soul left and can make the right decisions. Otherwise, it could turn extremely dangerous.

It could be good for Garth, though. He’s no longer a risk to his family and the Winchesters without Michael in control.
