When is Supernatural Season 14 back in 2019?

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 9 was the fall finale. That means a break until the new year. So when are new episodes of Supernatural back in 2019?

Supernatural Season 14 is on a break from new episodes. There will be reruns here and there, but there will be no new episodes. That ending last night is us until 2019. When will Supernatural return in the New Year?

The good news is The CW has confirmed a return date. Personally, I wondered if the show would be held back until March but I’m glad to see that the Winchesters will be back on our screens in January. There’s really not that long to wait, either. We’ve got a little more than a month, bringing the show back on Jan. 17, 2019.

This is about normal for The CW’s return dates. A longer winter Hellatus means less time off throughout the year; fewer pesky one-week breaks.

The question for me now is when will the show go on another break? Will we get a longer-than-usual break around March to allow the cast and crew to finish filming and to ensure the shorter season still airs in May for May Sweeps? That’s a question for another day, though.

The fall finale wrapped on a major cliffhanger. I’m not going to share exactly what that was for those who haven’t seen the episode yet and are using the break to catch up. If you want to know, you can check out the Supernatural Season 14, Episode 9 recap.

All I will say is that it was a strong episode. While there were some guessable plot points, seeing it all play out was awesome.
