Will Garth return in Supernatural Season 14?

Supernatural Season 14 has the potential to bring back other hunters. Will Garth be one of those to return?

Supernatural Season 14 is a season with plenty of potential. Like the last season, there’s the chance to bring other hunters back, although not quite in the same way. This season has the chance to charactes who are still alive back for an episode or two, and one of those is Garth.

His name was mentioned when the Winchesters learned that there were hunter traps set up by Michael. It was partially fan service, but made it clear that the brothers still have their connections and care deeply for their friends. They don’t want friends to end up like other hunters they don’t know.

Could this mean Garth will come back? There’s far more potential for this than anyone else. After all,Garth is now a werewolf.

Michael is building an army of monsters. What’s to stop him from turning to Garth and his wife? He could offer them the power-up in return for joining him, seeing as they are both werewolves and he could assume they are against humans. He wouldn’t necessarily know that Garth was a former hunter and is friends with Dean and Sam.

Even if Michael does know Garth is a friend of the Winchesters, this would be the perfect in for Michael. He’d be able to infiltrate without the Winchesters knowing. Well, that’s if Garth would join him. Michael could use Garth’s wife as leverage to force Garth to join his side.

There is the world of potential with Garth being who he is and Michael’s latest plan. DJ Qualls is a busy man and will be currently involved in The Man in the High Castle Season 4, but there is the opportunity to get him on the Supernatural set for a week. And the storyline is certainly open to bring Garth back.
