We’ve waited five months for Supernatural Season 14 to premiere and it’s finally here. By this time tomorrow, we’ll have all dissected every element of the episode and will have likely watched it three or four times. But let’s focus on the here and now.

Sam, Castiel, Jack, and the others are looking for Dean. Sam and Cass will do anything to save Dean, while Jack is considering the possibility that killing Dean may be the only option to ensure Michael doesn’t hurt anyone. Meanwhile, the hunters from the Apocalypse World are willing to do whatever it takes to destroy Michael, even if that means killing Dean.
The stakes are high. While we’ve seen archangels taking control of vessels before, this is the first time we’ll see one hellbent on “purifying” the Earth. We’ve already seen what this Michael will do in one world, but what will he do in this one? And should we worry about him teaming up with whatever is left of the angels?
