NCIS lands a Supernatural genius and you gotta dig the hair!

Supernatural fans who also watch NCIS got a special treat in the NCIS Season 16 premiere. A particular genius guest starred with hair that you just had to dig.

It’s always fun when you see your favorite actors on other shows you watch. NCIS is no stranger to having Supernatural actors. Over the years, we’ve seen Ty Olsson, Misha Collins, Travis Wester, and Danneel Ackles guest star on the series and tonight we got another: our favorite genius, Chad Lindberg.

Best known as Ash, who was all business up front and party in the back, he showed up in the first minutes of NCIS. It was just a small part, as he looked at images while in an interrogation room with McGee. This was just the opening before getting into the search for Director Vance.

However, it wasn’t the part that a lot of fans focused on. It was all about the haircut. Lindberg now sports a platinum blond cut. It wasn’t quite the mullet that we’ve been used to seeing him with, but it was certainly a haircut to dig.

Of course, now we’d love to see Lindberg come back. It looked like he was an informant for McGee, which could mean McGee could call him in for another case at some point in the future. This opportunity to bring Supernatural and NCIS together again just seems too perfect to pass up.
