Supernatural Season 14 spoilers: Fan favorite confirmed for Episode 3

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 3 is currently being filmed. A fan favorite has been confirmed for the episode and there’s possibly a Season 13 character returning.

Supernatural Season 14 filming is currently on Episode 3. This is one that was written by Robert Berens, who made a point in sharing that Jack would be in it. However, that’s all he spoiled and we have no idea of the capacity or whether he’ll have his powers back by this point. But now we’ve learned another fan favorite is confirmed.

Some of this post may be considered spoilery for some, so I’m warning you now before you get any further. It’s only based on a tweet and some potential information from IMDb, but I know some of you consider that a spoiler (no judgment, I get it!) so I just want to give you the heads up.

If you’re still reading, you obviously don’t mind what I consider to be more teases of the season. Not only do we have a fan favorite character returning, but possibly one that was introduced to us last season.

The character returning isn’t that surprising. After all, the showrunners had already confirmed that we’d see this character early on in Supernatural Season 14.

Yes, it’s all about Sheriff Jody Mills. Did we really think she wouldn’t be around at the beginning to help save Dean? Whether or not Dean will be saved in this episode is still unclear, but at least we know Jody is part of the case.

Kim Rhodes tweeted to confirm she was currently filming. It was just a basic tweet to say she possibly made the gag reel (and apparently she had trouble walking at some point) but it’s enough to confirm many hopes.

Who may be returning?

Then there’s the character who may be making a comeback this season. Right now, IMDb states that Yadira Guevara-Prip is returning to the show for the episode. She played Kaia, who had been killed off in “Wayward Sisters,” only to come back as the hooded figure from The Bad Place. This was clearly set up to be the storyline for Wayward Sisters if it was picked up to series.

When that didn’t happen, fans started to wonder if this storyline would be wrapped this season. It may happen in Episode 3.

However, I always take IMDb with a pinch of salt until after an episode airs. After all, Rhodes’ name still hasn’t been added to the listing at the time of writing (and we know she’s confirmed) and neither is Alexander Calvert (and we know Jack is in the episode). Around this time last year, Mary was listed as God in a listing for Supernatural Season 13, Episode 2.

If Kaia is part of the episode, it would make sense to wrap up that Wayward Sisters storyline. However, it seems odd to do this if Michael!Dean is still around.
