During the press section at SDCC 2018, the cast and EPs of Supernatural confirmed a specific angel will return. Here’s all we know about Sister Jo in Supernatural Season 14.

During SDCC 2018, the cast and EPs confirmed that Sister Jo will officially be a part of Supernatural Season 14. That means more Danneel Ackles on screen and it looks like we’ll get to see more of Jensen and Danneel opposite each other. We didn’t get to learn much about the return of Sister Jo, but there was a little.

I don’t think there are any spoilers in this, to be honest. This is just a little tease of the things to come. However, if you don’t want to know anything about Supernatural Season 14, then you’ll be best clicking here to go back to the SPN Hunters homepage.

Where is Sister Jo right now?

More from Supernatural

What we didn’t get to find out is what Sister Jo–angel name Anael–is up to right now. The last we saw of her, Lucifer threatened her life and then decided to let her go. She was angry that Lucifer hadn’t lived up to expectations and had officially “broken up” with him. After that, Lucifer left Heaven and we didn’t get to see Sister Jo again.

We got two episodes of Danneel Ackles in the series, but many fans wanted more. While we didn’t get to know what she’ll be up to now, the good news is we’ll get to see her again.

Will Sister Jo and Michael!Dean join together?

During the press section of SDCC 2018, the cast and EPs confirmed that Sister Jo and Michael!Dean will come face to face. Considering her wish to stand beside the ruler of Heaven, she’ll likely offer her services to Michael!Dean. It would make sense, right?

Michael wants to “purify” this Earth. He doesn’t have the same angelic army he had in the Apocalypse World here, so he’ll likely have to take all the help he can get. Why not take on the help of the businesswoman who helped get Lucifer back in Heaven? Or will working with Lucifer be enough to turn him off the idea of working with her?

Is this how Anael will be killed off or does the idea of Heaven crumbling stop Michael!Dean in his tracks?

There are so many questions about Sister Jo in Supernatural Season 14. Lots of theories are doing the rounds, but at least we know she’s coming back. How long will it last?
