Bela’s fate may not have been a positive one, but Supernatural actress Lauren Cohan has certainly gone on to have an excellent career. She’s in the upcoming Mile 22 with Mark Wahlberg and the second trailer has just dropped.

Whatever you thought of Bela Talbot, there’s no denying that she had a rough life. She hid behind a facade, but had to deal with a childhood of abuse, being tricked into making a deal for her soul, and then being tricked into attempting to kill the Winchesters to get out of her deal. Fortunately, Supernatural actress Lauren Cohan has faired much better than her character.

Since leaving the series, Cohan has gone onto guest star in the likes of The Vampire Diaries and has starred in The Walking Dead. Now she’s going onto the ABC midseason series Whiskey Cavalier. Before she does that, she has a movie in her backpocket, Mile 22.

More from Supernatural

Mile 22 stars Mark Wahlberg as an elite American Intelligence officer. It also stars Ronda Rousey and John Malkovitch. Cohan plays Alice, a member of Wahlberg’s team in the promo. You’ll get a chance to hear her with her American accent rather than the British accent you’ve been used to from Bela Talbot.

During the movie, the team has 90 minutes to travel 22 miles with absolutely no backup. Why would they need that? They have an asset who is willing to give away his country’s trade secrets and, of course, everyone wants that asset dead. If the team doesn’t make it in 90 minutes, they’ll miss the plane that will take them to safety.

From the look of the promo, this is your traditional action movie with Wahlberg. It will be fun to see Cohan in an active role like this, especially before her ABC series Whiskey Cavalier with Scott Foley.
