SPNPitt: Jared Padalecki shares his hopes for Sam and Jack in Supernatural Season 14
Supernatural Season 14 isn’t actually that far away and the stars are already thinking about the stories they hope to see. Jared Padalecki shared his hopes for Sam and Jack at SPNPitt.
We all have our hopes about storylines in Supernatural Season 14. It’s closer than you think, especially when it comes to the start of filming. While at SPNPitt, Jared Padalecki shared the storyline he hopes to see between Jack and Sam in the next season and it’s super sweet.
While on stage, he did admit that he hopes there’s some time to explore Michael!Dean, as that gives Jack and Sam more time together. What Padalecki would really like is to see Sam get the chance to impart some wisdom on Jack and teach him the things that Sam had always learned from Dean.

That is certainly a beautiful thought and it’s time for Sam to play the big brother role more. He’s always been the younger brother, the one learning from Dean. Sam has already shown that he can be a big brother to Jack in Supernatural Season 13 and it would be excellent to see that continued. To allow for that to happen, Michael!Dean would need to continue for a while, which is certainly not a complaint I’d have. Deanmon was underused, so I’d like to see more of Michael controlling Dean.

Many fans have certainly agreed with seeing more Sam and Jack. There were some excellent opportunities in Season 13 when Jack was figuring out his powers. Now there’s a chance as Jack struggles to come to terms with everything that has happened and the accidental deaths he’s caused.
