Supernatural Pitt: Jason Manns shares who he’d like to be on the series

If Jason Manns could play a role on Supernatural, who would it be? He answered that question while taking the stage at SPNPITT.

In case you didn’t realize, SPNPITT is taking place right now. Singer and songwriter (and close friend of Jensen Ackles) Jason Manns took to the stage today to answer a few fan questions. One of those was about who he’d like to be if he could star in Supernatural.

Like many, he’d love to be a sort-of-close relative to the Winchesters. By that, he wants to be some sort of long-lost cousin of the Winchesters. Maybe he’ll be remembered a little better than Adam, who is currently still somewhere in Lucifer’s cage and hasn’t been mentioned since “Fan Fiction.” However, cousins haven’t faired so well in the series. Just ask those from Supernatural Season 6.

However, Manns does joke that he wouldn’t need to be a cousin. He’d just like to be in the series and would be happy as “Officer #2 who gets killed by a chupacabra.” He’s completely in the spirit of the series, knowing that police officers don’t survive too long in episodes.

A chupacabra has never been seen in the series, although has been mentioned multiple times. The first mention was way back in Season 2 by Gordon and the most recent in Season 12 by Ketch. Could the first time one of these creatures shows up in the flesh be to kill Manns’ character? Would the writers add that in just for Supernatural Season 14? There would be a lot of people happy.
