Andrew Dabb has officially confirmed that The CW has passed on Wayward Sisters. It’s the worst decision in the world.

After all that hope last night and this morning, The CW has officially decided to pass on Wayward Sisters. Andrew Dabb tweeted the disappointment, quickly followed up with Kim Rhodes confirming the disappointing and ridiculous decision the network has ever made.

This was a series that has been asked for by the fans for years. It’s not just a whim like Bloodlines was. It’s a series that already has a following. Now it shows that The CW doesn’t really know what Supernatural fans want.

It’s a shocking decision, considering the ratings were high and the social media presence was strong. Sure, there were people who didn’t want it, but there are many who do.

Of course, fans around the world are disappointed that the Supernatural spin-off isn’t being picked up. Many are also angry at the decision. After all, the timing was perfect for this show. However, Rhodes quickly followed up with a series of tweets reminding fans not to be angry and disappointed.

Rhodes has said for months that Wayward Sisters was more than a TV show. It is a community of people; a family of its own. The actress best known as Sheriff Jody Mills reminds us that while it hurts right now, it’s not going to hurt like this forever. There is still space for the community out there.

After his tweet making the announcement, Dabb also tweeted out his thanks to the cast and crew. The characters will live on. At least with Supernatural Season 14, there’s a chance the characters can return and we can get a followup on who this other Kaia was.
