Lucifer had the chance to play God on Supernatural. He’s now decided to find his bliss but what does that mean?

Lucifer is one of those strange Supernatural characters. He’s evil, so you should hate him. Yet, the charisma and charm flowing through Mark Pellegrino’s character onscreen is enticing. This is a character many have come to love to hate or maybe even hate to love.

After finally taking over God’s throne in Heaven, he’s stepped back his game. Anael called him out on it while he played solitaire in the throne room and for a minute he attempted to be God, but then he failed and went back to his own ways. Now he’s attempting to find his bliss, whatever that means.

He wants Jack

More from Supernatural

Lucifer is back on the search for Jack. That’s his bliss. He wants to take over the world as a father and son duo. The problem is Jack is in the Apocalypse World and to get there the Winchesters need Lucifer’s grace.

It’s possible that Lucifer will work with the Winchesters temporarily. After all, he is one of only two archangels left and the second one turned tail and ran at the end of “Bring ’em Back Alive.” Lucifer knows how important it is to open the rift, so he may decide offering up some of his grace is enough to help.

Of course, there’s no way the Winchesters and Castiel will want to work with him. Hopefully, Gabriel turns up and makes them an offer they can’t refuse to avoid working with Lucifer.

Angels turning against Lucifer

Yet again, the angels are realizing that letting Lucifer back into Heaven was a big mistake. He can’t do anything that he promised (like making new angels) and he’s just sitting around and waiting for the end of time. Even his First Lady, Anael, has turned her back on him.

With Castiel going to Heaven in the latest episode, we may just see the angels finally have a concrete way to turn their backs on Lucifer. They can follow Castiel, since he has shown himself an effective leader in the past. That would bring about a war between Castiel and Lucifer, but could mean Lucifer is finally put back in the cage or maybe the archangel blade is eventually used against him.
