Supernatural Season 13, Episode 19 hints at a returning problem

Rowena will return to Supernatural Season 13 in Episode 19, titled Funeralia. It looks like the Winchesters will finally deal with whatever spell she cast.

When Rowena returned to Supernatural, many fans rejoiced. Despite her being one of the “evil” characters, she has stepped in and helped the Winchesters now and then. Of course, it’s always been for her own gain. The most recent case was when she needed to get her hands on the Black Grimoire to cast a spell to protect herself from Lucifer.

We haven’t seen her since and many of us have wondered what Rowena has done to herself. It looked like a bunch of magical battle armor around her, which certainly makes sense considering what she wanted. We should find out the full truth very soon.

The synopsis for Supernatural Season 13, Episode 19 is now here. The Winchesters will have the chance to deal with Rowena, after she goes on a “deadly mission.” What will that deadly mission be? There are high chances that it will be linked with Lucifer. Will she go on a suicide mission to stop the archangel once and for all? Maybe she’ll even go after his grace to help the Winchesters open the rift.

Meanwhile, Castiel will go to Heaven. There’s an “impending invasion,” which suggests something linked to the rift and Apocalypse Michael. Does Castiel want to build an army to protect the world from whatever is in store?

Castiel will get a surprise when he sees someone in Heaven. He may be surprised at seeing Lucifer. While the Winchesters and Castiel know Lucifer is out there, they don’t exactly know where “there” is. However, considering Casifer took a trip to Heaven, it seems likely that Castiel would guess that is where Lucifer would go next.

Will another angel return or will God be up there trying to sort a few things out? Maybe even Amara has decided to step in. We’ll have to wait to find out.

"ANGELS, WITCHES AND REAPERS, OH MY – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) must stop Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell), who is on a deadly mission. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) looks to heaven to recruit angels for an impending invasion but is shocked by not only what he finds, but who."
