3 cartoons we want to see crossover with Supernatural

Next week Supernatural airs the long-awaited crossover with Scooby-Doo. Let’s look at three other cartoons we think would work with Supernatural.

Scooby-Doo and Supernatural are two shows that seem to seamlessly meld together, so when The CW announced there would be a special crossover, most fans were on board. But, what about other cartoons? Could Supernatural easily crossover with any other cartoons? We’ve already looked at some possibilities, but here are three other cartoons I think The Winchesters can easily make an appearance on and fit in.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Fullmetal Alchemist is a Japanese Anime about two brothers. These brothers practice alchemy and use it to bring their mother back from the dead. However, their actions are not without consequence. While they practice this science,  they lose parts of their bodies in the meantime.

A lot of the themes in both shows are similar enough that the crossover would be seamless. The brothers in the cartoon and The Winchesters could commiserate about not only losing their mother but also getting her back. Since both shows deal with the relationship between brothers, we could see a lot of the deeper themes being explored in a crossover between these two shows.

Gravity Falls

Gravity Falls is a cartoon that aired on Disney XD. The show centers around two twins, Dipper and Mabel, who are sent to live with their Great Uncle Stan in Oregon for the summer. While in the town of Gravity Falls, Dipper realizes there is more than meets the eye. He spends the summer solving mysteries and learning about all the supernatural beings that live in the forest.

This is the perfect show for Supernatural to crossover with. Sam and Dean could come in and help Dipper and Mabel fight off any sort of weird creature. Zombies? No problem, Sam and Dean could help with that! The Winchesters have stopped many armageddons, why not have them help stop Weirdmageddon? Also, I’m sure Sam and Dean will provide a nice outlet for boy crazy Mabel to get in one more summer crush before they head back home in the fall.

Bob’s Burgers

Dean loves to eat, Bob likes to cook, so crossing these two shows over makes a lot of sense. Bob’s Burgers is about the Belcher Family who own their own restaurant. A lot of quirky things happen, but the focus is mostly on the family and their relationships with one another.

I mean, crossing over these two shows would be comedy gold. Obviously, Tina would spend the entire time admiring Sam and Dean’s butts. Dean would plant himself on a stool next to Teddy and just tell Bob to keep the burgers and fries coming. And Sam would try to explain to the town that all of their legends are just that, legends.  The comedy of both shows are right around the same level, so crossing them over would be hilarious.
