Supernatural fans attending #SPNLV witnessed a trio performance involving a hunter, a rock star and a celestial being.

The official Supernatural convention in Las Vegas has been running over the weekend and fans have enjoyed a variety of different events and panels. Several cast members have been on-scene answer panel questions and interacting with Supernatural fans, including Sam and Dean Winchester, a.k.a Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, a.k.a J2.

What no fan expected to happen during the convention was to see Jensen Ackles sing live on stage, alongside Slipknot singer Corey Taylor and guitarist Rob Benedict, Chuck/god. Ackles is known to sing at panels before a performance like this is not the norm and being around Benedict is normal. But Slipknot? Definitely not!

Singing the Supernatural fan favorite “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi, fans were delighted to witness the surprise performance.

All of us who were unable to attend were still able to witness the wonderful moment, thanks to the fans that uploaded video clips to the internet. Thank god, or should we say, Chuck, for Twitter.

We are not quite sure where Jared Padalecki was at the time. Padalecki bust out the guitar for the first time at Honolulu 2017, but we were unable to catch him a glimpse of him from any of the recordings. Maybe he was offstage, happily rocking out privately.

So what do you think about the live on-stage performance? Did you see it live? If so what was it like? Leave a comment below with your thoughts.

#SPNLV is now over but there are more Supernatural conventions to come. While we can’t say if there will be any other surprise performances like this one, we are sure they will all have their high points.
