Now that Danneel Ackles is confirmed as a recurring character on Supernatural, it’s time to set out a wish list of things to see from her.

For many fans, the idea of seeing Danneel Ackles on Supernatural is extremely exciting. Even if she wasn’t Jensen Ackles’ wife, this is Rachel Gatina Scott from One Tree Hill. She isn’t the only star from OTH to join SPN either. Lindsay McKeon appeared from the second season in various story arcs as the reaper Tessa. Plus there’s the off-screen connection of Danneel’s co-star and friend Hilarie Burton marrying Jensen’s co-star and friend Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

But enough of the excitement and strange One Tree Hill/Supernatural connections. Here’s a look at the things we need to see from Danneel when she appears in the show.

More from Supernatural

Jensen and Danneel opposite each other

These two have excellent chemistry on screen and this was the case before they dated. If you need anything to confirm this, just watch the indie movie Ten Inch Hero. In fact, you just need one of the funniest clips ever to get the idea that these two are perfect on screen together.

Of course, the fact that they’re married in real life is an even bigger deal. It would be fun to see them opposite each other now, after years of being together.

Some sort of mention of Ruby

Danneel isn’t the first of the co-star’s wives to appear on the show. Jared Padalecki and his wife Genevieve were on the show together. In fact, they met during Supernatural season 3 when Genevieve came onto the show has the second version of Ruby. Genevieve later appeared in season 6 in the “real world,” where Fake Jared and Fake Jensen didn’t get along, as the two were really married by this point.

Just some sort of Ruby while Danneel is on screen would be perfect. Preferably a mention from Danneel’s character to Sam? Or maybe even from Sam to Dean while Danneel is on screen? Anything like that would demolish the remnants of the broken fourth wall.

To hold her own against Lucifer

It’s not often that we see a human go up against Lucifer. Danneel is going to play a faith healer called Sister Jo and we already know that Lucifer will turn to her for help. Hopefully she’ll already know who Lucifer is and debate whether to actually help him or not.

Danneel has a habit of playing strong (and sometimes manipulative) characters. She does this so well that it would be hard to imagine her cowering in total fear from a half-powered Lucifer.

For Sam to stab her

Okay, it’s not going to be a nice way to end, but this is something Jared wants to see happen. He would like to have that awkward conversation with Jensen’s children of why Uncle Jared and Daddy killed Mommy. It’s only fair, since they already need to have the conversation with Jared’s children of why Uncle Jensen kill their Mommy.
